Donnybrook Tidy Towns in association Dublin City Council are promoting an autumn leaf cleanup initiative “Don’t Leaf It To Others”. The initiative is to facilitate residents to help themselves and their environment, by providing them with blue bags for the gathering of leaves outside their properties and in return we will then arrange for collection of the bags when they are full.
290/2019 is the name of our project plan to get us to the dizzy heights of 290 TidyTowns points by the year 2019. You can view the project plan here or simply download it to review at your leisure.
Assessment of participating towns is carried out by an independent panel of adjudicators appointed by the Department of the Environment, Community and Local Government
This is a brainchild and initiative of the Donnybrook TidyTowns group, where we decided to come together as a community to remember all those that have gone before us especially in the past year.
Christmas time when the whole community come together to mark the start of Chritmas period for Donnybrook. Usually held with a host of acts to entertain you, all drawn from local schools or talent groups.
