In order to survive and thrive, wild pollinators need safe nesting habitats. Nesting sites provide pollinators with shelter, protect them from predators and allow next year’s pollinators to grow and develop. This guideline is availble to download.
Positive Ageing Week (PAW) is an Age Action Ireland initiative – Monday September 30th to Sunday October 6th. The focus is on community based events, organised by groups and individuals throughout Ireland, and national events organised by Age Action and its partners. The next Donnybrook Dooder clean up is on Saturday 20th July, meeting at the Iron Bridge Brookvale Rd / Beaver Row at 10 am to clean until 12 Noon.
All volunteers will split into groups to clean the banks along the Dodder.

The EPA have funded a Streamscapes brochure to celebrate the River Dodder. Local community representatives, photographers and historians all contributed to create a unique Dodder Streamscapes brochure for the river catchment. It contains images of some of the animals and heritage along the river and also contains stories and memories from local people.
